Announcement: 17 Consecutive Years of Michelin Star Recognition in Michelin Guide Kyoto–Osaka 2026

We are pleased to share that, thanks to your support, we have once again received an invitation from MICHELIN this year. Since the first publication of MICHELIN Kyoto–Osaka in 2010, we are truly honored to have remained the only traditional ryokan/hotel in central Kyoto to receive a star for 17 consecutive years.

At the ceremony held on April 23 at the Swissôtel Nankai Osaka, we were deeply touched and grateful for the many warm words and encouragement we received from attendees.

At Kanamean Nishitomiya , we create our inn based on the philosophy:
